The script (series creator Derek Kolstad leads the writing team) is excellent, especially when regular characters such Anjelica Huston's Ruska Roma boss and Laurence Fishburne's Bowery King return to beef up the dialogue.

I liked a lot of the film, and do even admire its over-stuffiness at times, and left curious by the choices made at the end of the film based on where it leaves the characters for Chapter 4.

Parabellum is a fun romp and continues the Greek/pulp mythology set up in John Wick: Chapter 2. In future installments, Stahelski might want to tone down the campiness, otherwise the series will lunge into self-parody.
